Social Work Degree, Dip S/W, CQSW or equivalent
We are a highly regarded Independent Fostering Agency with an Outstanding Ofsted rating awarded to us from our last 2 inspections. We specialise in adopting a relationship focused therapeutic practise across our whole agency. We are currently looking for a dedicated Supervising Social Worker to join our team in Upton Magna, Shrewsbury on a full-time basis. We need someone who is driven, enthusiastic, ambitious, and committed to supporting our well-established team. Your role will be crucial in maintaining our therapeutic approach and nurturing a family-like environment, as we strive to offer every child a fresh start and a loving home.
Applicants will preferably have experience in childcare, family placement work and/or child protection. You will also be expected to demonstrate up to date knowledge of relevant legislation and associated regulations and be Social Work England registered. There is the option of having 1 day per week working from home.
You will be expected to manage a maximum caseload of 12-14 fostering households, help cover duty when the Foster Family Co-ordinator is on annual leave. To be on the out of hours rota.
