Committed to Your Success

Expertise and Understanding
With years of experience and a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by foster families, we are committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment for all involved. Join our agency today and experience the difference that our comprehensive services can make in the lives of children in foster care.

Where Do I Start?

We understand that you may have questions and concerns, and we genuinely want to address them. That is why we would be more than happy to arrange a home visit where we can have a meaningful conversation and get to know you better. Our aim is to provide you with the support and information you need, so please do not hesitate to reach out.

Notify Your Agency

If you decide to join us, we kindly request that you inform your current agency in writing about your intention to transfer. The social workers to the children in your care will also be notified of your intention to transfer.

Meeting Arrangements

A meeting will be scheduled between us, your current agency, and the local authority if you have children in your care. If you would like more information about this process, you can find detailed descriptions of the transfer arrangements in ‘The Fostering Network Transfer Protocol 2014.’

Form F Assessment

A Form F assessment will be completed, taking 3-4 months. Foster carers will also complete our Skills to Foster training course.

Fostering Panel

The Form F is presented to our fostering panel who make a recommendation on your approval with New Chapters. Your approval will be confirmed by our ADM. Once our ADM has confirmed your approval, you will be asked to provide your previous agency with a letter giving 28 days notice. We recommend you email your previous agency as well.

Up and Running

And just like that, you’re up and running! Our family finding officer will carefully match a child or children that can live with you. Your New Chapters journey has officially begun. Are you ready to make the difference that our vulnerable children need?
