Day after day during these extraordinary times we see so many amazing people thinking of others and helping the less fortunate and vulnerable in our society.
Here at New Chapters Fostercare, we have our own group of amazing people who despite the challenges of self-isolation and social distancing still manage to commit fully to providing therapeutic parenting to some of the most vulnerable children and young people in this region. Our staff team are currently all home-based, but with innovative thinking and use of today’s technology, we are able to continue offering the support that our foster carers need. Even in pre-Covid 19 times the resilience, dedication, quality and commitment of our foster carers was exceptional and in March 2020 this was recognised by Ofsted, who gave us a rating of outstanding in all areas.
We know there are so many more amazing people out there and if you are one of them and you feel you may have the commitment and resilience to help a vulnerable child recover from their trauma then please think about giving us a call and ask us about how you could start not only a new chapter in your life but also how you could help give a vulnerable child a much needed new chapter too.
What Ofsted said about us in March 2020:
Children are at the heart of this service. Managers, staff and foster carers demonstrate a huge amount of passion, ambition and commitment to ensuring that children achieve the best outcomes possible and improve their life chances. Children benefit from a stable, happy family life. They feel genuinely loved and cared about, fully integrated into family life, listened to, understood and respected. A young person commented, “Living with my carer is the best thing that has ever happened to me.”
The Directors (Craig, Rosie and Martin) want to thank our dedicated staff team, wonderful foster carers and all the children and young people in our care for the extraordinary resilience you are all showing during the Coronavirus crisis.
Our thanks are heartfelt.
